Bill Morris founded MCP Ventures, LLC in 2010 to re-establish a retail real estate acquisition and consulting firm. In his 39-year career, Bill has developed, re-developed or acquired over 3.4M square feet of retail shopping centers, developed over 1M square feet of office/showroom space, acquired over 660K square feet of existing office-tech space, acquired over 2,200 acres of commercial and residential land, purchased or developed 441 apartment units, purchased over 275K square feet of office, and has secured over $400M for construction, acquisition, and permanent debt financing, raised over $310M in equity and invested in numerous private placements.
Since formation, MCP Ventures, LLC has acquired and developed thirteen centers totaling over 1.3M square feet, acquired/developed 441 apartment units, acquired 120 acres of land, acquired 275,000 square feet of mixed-use properties, and raised over $115M in equity and secured over $200M in debt.
Bill was formerly the Chief Acquisition Officer and Senior Partner of Trademark Property Company, where he led the acquisition and re-development of the $164M La Palmera, a 1M square foot three-anchor, enclosed mall in Corpus Christi, TX, which sold in 2013 for almost $300M. Bill also established Trademark’s Land Investment Division and purchased over 824 acres at a total cost of over $25M for future mixed-use development.
